GO! is the first in a series of TestWare™ products of packaged test scripts that provide automatic testing of software applications. Scripts handle the time-consuming routine tests, enabling developers and quality assurance professionals to get to the more difficult tests faster. GO! includes on-line Test Wizards that provide step-by-step guidance, allowing users to create tests, run the tests, and generate detail reports on the UI of the application-under-test in less than an hour. The test scripts are reusable so that customers can instantly pinpoint changes in the application over time. GO! generates application-specific test scripts that automatically perform routine GUI tests such as: completeness of windows; attributes of graphical user interface controls; mnemonic clashes; tab order; list box operations, and GUI control alignment. GO! requires the QA Partner® test tool, and the results can automatically generate test plans within QA Planner™.

GO! is available immediately on the Windows 3.1 operating systems for $495. It will be available on Windows '95, and Windows/NT for $495 in January. GO! will be available on most UNIX platforms in the first quarter of 1996 for $795. Bundled pricing is available for purchasing GO! with the QA Partner cross-platform test tool and the QA Planner test management system.
